  1. Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to every offer made by Koffie St Michel and to every distance contract concluded between Koffie St Michel and the customer.

  1. Offerings and products

All products in the webshop are described as accurately as possible. Images and descriptions are indicative and cannot give rise to compensation or termination of the agreement.

  1. Prices

All prices quoted are in euros and include VAT, unless otherwise stated. Shipping costs are not included in the product price and will be shown separately during checkout.

Koffie St Michel reserves the right to change prices at any time. The price applicable at the time of ordering is the valid price.

  1. Shipping costs and delivery

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are applied as follows:

  • Belgium: €9
    Free shipping on orders over €50
  • Netherlands: €12
    Free shipping on orders over €60
  • France, Germany, and Luxembourg: €15
    Free shipping on orders over €75
  • Rest of the European Union: €20
  • Rest of the world: €40

Shipping

Orders are delivered to the address specified by the customer. Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on the destination. Exceeding a delivery time does not entitle the customer to compensation or cancellation.

Any customs and import costs for deliveries outside the European Union are entirely at the customer’s expense.

  1. Payment

Payment is made using the payment methods offered in the webshop. The order will only be processed after receipt of full payment. Koffie St Michel reserves the right to cancel an order.  cancel all or part of the order  in the event of, for example, an error in the offer, an incorrect price, a stock problem, suspected abuse, or other exceptional circumstances. In the event of cancellation by Koffie St Michel, the amount already paid will be  fully refunded to the customer, without additional compensation.

  1. Right of withdrawal and return policy

Right of withdrawal

The customer has the right to terminate the agreement within 14 calendar days after receiving the product, to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason, unless the product is excluded from the right of withdrawal.

Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed food products that are not suitable for return for reasons of hygiene or health protection and whose seal has been broken after delivery.

Return policy

  • Return shipments are always at the expense and responsibility of the buyer
  • The product must be returned unused, undamaged, and, if possible, in its original packaging.
  • The customer must contact us in advance via info@stmichel.be before sending a return

After correct receipt and inspection of the return shipment, the purchase price of the product will be refunded, excluding the original shipping costs.

Exception in case of error or damage

If a product is damaged upon delivery or has been delivered incorrectly, the buyer must report this. within 48 hours of receipt to report via info@stmichel.be, with a clear description and, if possible, photos of the problem. In that case, Koffie St Michel will, after assessment, provide a suitable solution.

  1. Warranty and conformity

Koffie St Michel guarantees that the products delivered comply with the agreement and legal conformity requirements. Complaints about visible defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  1. Liability

Koffie St Michel is not liable for indirect damage such as consequential damage, lost profits, or loss of data, unless there is intent or gross negligence.

  1. Force majeure

In the event of force majeure, Koffie St Michel is not obliged to fulfill its obligations. Force majeure is understood to mean any circumstance beyond the control of Koffie St Michel that temporarily or permanently prevents the fulfillment of the agreement.

  1. Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. More information about this can be found in the privacy statement on the website.

  1. Applicable law and disputes

All agreements are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Belgium.
